Who they are
Hudson Cannabis is a family-founded, women-led, employee-owned Hudson Valley brand started by sisters Melany and Freya Dobson, who launched it as Hudson Hemp in 2017 before moving into adult-use cannabis. It grows sun-powered, regenerative cannabis in organic living soil on the 500-acre Old Mud Creek Farm, and works alongside the co-located Hudson Carbon research project on a mission it describes as climate-positive.
